Finalising Your Design

By this stage, you will have appointed your chosen architect. This is when your architect will, through their experience and expertise, liaise with you to create a design that will meet both your needs and maximise your budget.

This is an example of the stages this process might follow:

• You meet with your architect and discuss your ideas, requirements, and budget

• Your architect prepares an initial sketch of your extension based on this discussion

• Your architect advises you on what consents you may need (eg. whether you will need Planning Permission etc,).

• Between you and your architect, you review, discuss, and refine the design until you are happy with it

At 3HW we will guide you through each step of this process, listen to your ideas, and advise you to ensure you will get the most from your budget and design.
